It is said that two brothers were fishing and found a picture of the Lady on July 22, and after one of them survived a dangerous illness, the people of Perast decided to build a monastery on that very spot. Sailors have left silver plates on the island for protection, and today, it hosts a museum filled with artifacts that tell the story of this remarkable place.
