All the sculptures in Portonovi are works of art by a Polish awarded artist Malgorzata Chodakowska. Born in 1965, Malgorzata has been awarded several recognitions throughout her career, including first prize for the memorial "Tränenmeer" at Heide-Cemetery Dresden in remembrance of the victims of WWII.
Her sculptures Fun at the spring, Little Ballerina and Angel are all done in bronze, while water plays an important role in making them seem alive.
