The Explosive Burak Yeter Performance Marked the Beginning of the Year in Portonovi
Portonovi Resort entered the new 2024 with numerous events and a great number of visitors. Lots of visitors came to the luxurious marina because of festive events, but One&Only Portonovi also drew a lot of attention, especially from international guests, and the hotel worked at full capacity during the winter season as well.
"This is certainly promising for us, but it is also an obligation to offer new activities and create additional content with our tenants in order to appeal to people, not only from Montenegro and the region but from the world, and bring them to Boka and Herceg Novi," said the Director of Marketing and Communications at Portonovi, Adrijana Husić.
A step towards that goal was taken successfully with the organization of the Festive Market in Marina Square with everyday concerts, as part of which there was a sensational and explosive performance by the Turkish DJ and producer Burak Yeter last night.
"Yeter is known for different projects when it comes to the music industry. We had the opportunity to listen to him last year in Tapasake as part of One&Only Portonovi, and it that cooperation continued naturally. Burak is our guest this year; he is staying in Portonovi, and I believe that his concert tonight will be a treat for all those who like good music and amazing performance," added Husić before the beginning of the performance.
The popular DJ started off his set with a global hit, "Tuesday," and the spectacular energy was maintained with every new song. Yeter gave a new sound to numerous iconic pop hits, and the great party was completed with special effects, canons with confetti and colorful ribbons, and flags with his logo that the audience delightfully accepted and waved following every rhythm. By dancing constantly and with great energy, everyone in Portonovi showed once again that the love between the internationally famous DJ and the Montenegrin audience is mutual.
"I am very happy to be here; I come here at least twice a year because my best friend comes here for vacation. I feel at home, and I am incredibly inspired when in Montenegro; I bring a laptop and headphones, look at the mountains, and make music. People in Montenegro have great energy and a good vibe. I might move to Montenegro," said Yeter.
Thanks to that inspiration, the famous producer added surprise songs to his repertoire, and he was delighted with the Portonovi audience's reaction to his remix of the song from "La casa de papel."
Yeter used this opportunity to announce his new album and a new and exciting project with which, if everything goes according to plan, he will be the first musician to have a live concert in space.
"I have worked on that project for more than two years - I plan to go to space in two or three months. The captain and I will fly up to 55,000 feet (16,764 kilometers), and I will live-stream music there. We fly up from Barcelona. I am very excited because that should be the first live concert in space," explained Yeter.
After an unforgettable concert by the extraordinary Burak Yeter, Portonovi will have three more concerts. Trio Gušt will bring a unique music experience for all visitors; the performance by the pop singer Tijana Bogićević will take place on January 6, and the grand finale of the Sparkling Season in Portonovi is scheduled for January 7, as well as its closing, depending on weather conditions.
