The 3x3 Montenegro Tournament in Portonovi This Weekend

The 3x3 Montenegro Tournament will be organized in several cities across Montenegro, and the season opens on June 3 and 4 in Portonovi!

Nice weather is reserved for socializing with sports and entertainment, traditionally organized by 3x3 Montenegro. After six successful seasons and dozens of organized tournaments all over Montenegro, the organization will start the 2k23 season in Marina Square at one of the most beautiful Montenegrin addresses - Portonovi.

The start of the two-day program is scheduled for June 3, when the Montenegrin Olympic Committee 3x3 League of Elementary Schools will begin at noon. After that, we expect a qualifying tournament, as well as various competitions for the audience.

On the second day – Sunday, June 4, the event will start with a competition for children from Herceg Novi, while later, in the afternoon, group stage matches and games of the best-ranking teams, competitions for the audience, entertainment program, will be organized. And before the start of the finals, we will also watch an exhibition match, when a surprise guest will appear.

The prize fund for the upcoming tournament amounts to 1,500 euros, of which the team that wins the tournament receives a cash prize of 1000 euros, the second-placed team 400 euros, and two prizes of 50 euros are for each of the competitions in three-pointers and dunks.

Additionally, the best-ranked teams will also win:

1st place: two nights in Portonovi Resort + a package of Level Up supplements

2nd place: dinner at restaurant Square Portnonovi

All interested teams can apply to participate in the 3x3 Montenegro Tournament at the link, and applications are open until May 31.

This is Portonovi’s second time hosting the 3x3 tournament. In 2019, the 12 best Montenegrin teams took part in the competition.
