Sounds of the Mediterranean

Portonovi continued to embrace and promote the local culture and heritage through the Sounds of the Mediterranean concert that took place in June 2021.

Guests enjoyed traditional klapa performances that are an age old tradition in Montenegro yet still very much a part of modern day life in Boka. The sounds of voices blended to create a beautiful performance that took guests through stories of love and life along the stunning coast of Boka Bay.

A travel through history on waves of music that were followed by a dance performance by 70 members of the Cultural and Sports Center DiANo with 20 dance performances each with their own music, costumes, as well as audio and visual designs which made this a welcoming event in the village and community. The performance included many dancing styles from classical ballet through to contemporary dance, show dance, ethnic games and musicals.
