September in Portonovi with Disney and the Most Beautiful Music from Cartoons

Since the beginning of the year, more than 80 successful events have been organized in Portonovi. These events, along with the standard resort offer, attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors during the summer season, which is 30 percent more than last year. The program will continue until mid-September, and preparations for December activities and the winter season have already started.

More than a successful season of concerts in Portonovi will be completed on September 7, with a magical concert by the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra performing songs from the most popular Disney movies as a gift for both kids and adults. Walt Disney Company is celebrating an important 100-year birthday in 2023. After Podgorica and Cetinje, the jubilee will also be celebrated in Portonovi, conducted by the prominent maestro Robert Homen. The audience will enjoy the iconic melodies from Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Frozen, Encanto, Pocahontas, Mary Poppins, and other cartoons, as well as movies. Soprano Danijela Pintarić and tenor Josip Švagelj will perform as soloists at the concert.

Herceg Novi Comic Book Festival (Hercegnovski Stirp Festival - HSF) will have its 17th edition in numerous locations in Herceg Novi from September 1 to 6, 2023, and Monday, September 4 is reserved for the program in Portonovi, where visitors will have the opportunity to visit a rich comic book exchange, get free drawings or drawings on shirts by international comic book stars, and enjoy a great music program. The program will be organized starting at 4 PM in Vista Square.

This year’s summer season in Portonovi will be completed by a sports event that attracts increasing attention – Aquathlon. Portonovi Aquathlon II will be organized on September 10 this year, and applications are still open and available at the link.
