Preparations for Summer in Portonovi Have Begun - Two Concerts Have Already Been Announced

After a successfully organized winter Sparkling Season and numerous events by restaurants in Portonovi this month, preparations for summer have already started in the resort. The success of the previous events and more than a million recorded visitors have increased expectations for this year. Many sports events, concerts, and kids’ events are planned, but for now, they announced two big concerts in July and August – Symphony Orchestra - Best of the 80s and Tijana Bogićević concert.

Symphony Orchestra - Best of the 80s will take place on Saturday, July 13, in Marina Square. Best of the 80s project was created with a wish to present some of the old music hits in a new, modern light of today's rich and splendid production. This project was created by cooperation between the already well-known and unique band "GIFT" and symphony pop-rock orchestra "Strings 'n' Roses," consisting of prominent musicians of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and Predrag Cvetković (Rock Opera, Disco Opera) as a producer, bringing famous hits enriched by symphonic arrangements of the cellist Dejan Timotijević. Some of the hits of bands such as Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Simple Minds, and David Bowie, recorded in the past with older technology conditions, will sound timeless when performed by "GIFT" and "String 'n' Roses" and they made their own mark on evergreen hits in the music history of the planet.

The regional music star Tijana Bogićević concert is planned for August 10 in Marina Square. The pop singer is famous for  “Bezuslovno,” “Hajde onda ništa,” “Širina,” and other hits, and last week, she presented her new hit “Kada odem,” which was her announcement of work on her third studio album.

These two concerts are just an introduction to what is awaiting in Portonovi this summer.

Entrance to the concerts in Marina Square will be free of charge.
