Portonovi Supported Water Polo National Team and Swimming Federation of Montenegro

The Water Polo National Team and Swimming Federation of Montenegro (VPSCG) were supported by Portonovi Resort, which joined as the sponsor of the sport with the most trophies in Montenegro.

Last summer, a series of events started in Portonovi that marked the beginning of our athletes' road to Paris and a year until the Olympic Games. Recognizing sport as one of the best Montenegrin brands, Portonovi continuously supports promoting our athletes and their sports achievements.

"We are thankful to Portonovi for the support they provide to us. Our water polo players have qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris for the fifth time, which is how they wrote the history of our country. Our younger selections will participate in two European and one World Championship, and we are certain that we will also bring one of the medals from those competitions this year. We have already started preparing for the Montenegro Open, the 10th International Jubilee Swim Meet, which will gather more than 400 swimmers. Signing this sponsorship agreement is a significant contribution to creating better sports, financial, and organizational conditions for achieving the best possible results of all Montenegrin water polo and swimming selections," said VPSCG.

Portonovi said they are delighted because of the cooperation, stating that "this support is a part of the company's dedication to nurturing local talents, promoting sports spirit, and contributing to the development of the community."
