Portonovi Summer Rise 2023: Spectacular Challenge at the Peak of Summer!

Get ready for an unforgettable experience this summer! Herceg Novi Triathlon Club is proud to invite you to the fourth edition of the hike to May 1 Viewpoint, which will be held on June 24 at dawn.

This year, thanks to our friends from Portonovi, the race has a new name – Portonovi Summer Rise 2023 – and promises to be even more exciting!

Enjoy a perfect view with Herceg Novi background and celebrate the beginning of summer with running and hiking enthusiasts! The trail, which is maintained every year, leads to a beautiful viewpoint with a magnificent view of the surroundings. The trail length is 4 km, and the ascent is 340 m – an ideal challenge for all those who love an active vacation.

Portonovi Summer Rise 2023 offers two options for participants – a race and a hiking tour. The race starts at 6 AM in Portonovi, whereas the hiking tour begins at 5:15 AM in front of the Intercession of the Theotokos Church in Kumbor, above Olimpija Restaurant. Join triathlon athletes from Herceg Novi and enjoy a leisurely walk or a challenging race up to the top of the viewpoint.

The hike with a stay at the top of the viewpoint and return will last for about two and a half hours. Whether you decide to join the race or the hike, an unforgettable experience and pristine nature are waiting for you.
