Portonovi Participates in RE:D Montenegro 2026, Contributing to Conversations Shaping the Future of the Country

Portonovi was proud to take part in RE:D Montenegro 2026, a high-profile conference that gathered some of the region’s leading investors, developers, hospitality brands, financial institutions, and decision-makers to discuss the future of investment and development in Montenegro.

As Montenegro moves closer toward EU accession, conversations around infrastructure, strategic investments, connectivity, and sustainable long-term growth are becoming increasingly important for the country’s future positioning and competitiveness. The conference highlighted the important role major investment projects can play in supporting economic development, strengthening local communities, and elevating Montenegro’s international profile.

At Portonovi, we believe large-scale investment projects carry a responsibility beyond investment alone, helping shape destinations, support local communities, and contribute to Montenegro’s long-term development. Since its inception, Portonovi has been developed with a strong focus on preserving the spirit and heritage of Boka Bay, while contributing to the growth of Herceg Novi and Montenegro through long-term investment, partnerships, employment opportunities, and world-class experiences.

Our Chief Commercial Officer, Stevan Milic, joined the panel discussion “Montenegro’s Coast Through the Lens of Its Largest Investors: Vision, Strategy & What’s Next” alongside representatives of some of the country’s key investment and hospitality platforms. The discussion focused on the future of Montenegro’s coast, the evolution of luxury destinations, and the importance of responsible development that creates long-term value for both the destination and local community.

During the panel, Milic spoke about the importance of sustainable growth, long-term vision, and the role premium hospitality, marina infrastructure, wellness, and lifestyle experiences play in positioning Montenegro among the leading luxury destinations of the Adriatic region.

Today, Portonovi continues to strengthen its position as one of the Adriatic’s leading lifestyle destinations, bringing together luxury hospitality, residences, marina infrastructure, wellness, sports, and year-round experiences. The destination is home to Europe’s first One&Only resort, Chenot Espace wellness concept, and an internationally awarded marina recognized within the global yachting industry.

Congratulations to the organizers of RE:D Montenegro for creating such an important platform for dialogue and collaboration, because only through long-term cooperation can Montenegro continue building a stronger and more competitive future.
