Portonovi Hosted the EST 105 Sailing Regatta

Portonovi hosted a sailing regatta that gathered 15 competitors from Italy and Montenegro.

They sailed from Italy to Portonovi, and the fastest competitors arrived in ten hours and 30 minutes.

Novica Radojičić from Portonovi Marina said that they knew that this summer, a large number of people from abroad with nautical background were coming and that by organizing the regatta, they wanted to give an adequate response to their wishes.

"In February, we already started regular marina maintenance, preparations for new berths, new offers, information, and content we can offer our clients this season and throughout the year," said Radojičić.

He stated that, as in previous years, all services were at a high level.

"We want to increase the quality of our services because that is what attracts them the most to be here with us, and it makes us proud that we can present Portonovi and our country as the right destination for their expensive toys," said Radojičić.

He said that their friends from the Puglia region are passionate sailors and that they, as long-term collaborators, help them in promotion.

Radojičić said that sailing in Montenegro is also at an international level.

"We had 15 competitors who started from the shores of Italy. The fastest arrived in ten hours and 30 minutes," Radojičić said.

He said that organizing the regatta gave them an excellent warm-up and started the season in the right way.

"This regatta showed us that there will be a big turnout at our next regatta, which will take place from June 7 to 9," concluded Radojičić.

Pasquale Triggiani, President of the association of sailors of the Puglia region, said that Portonovi is a fantastic place, very good for marinas and crews.

He said that the management of Portonovi is open to talking with them about improving this regatta next year.

"My good expectation is to have more teams from Montenegro. I hope that in 2025, more crews from Montenegro will come to Bari to sail in this race", said Triggiani.
