Portonovi Announces Its Programme for the Upcoming Festive Season

After a successful summer, Portonovi now enters a season of holiday events that once again reaffirm its position as a year-round destination. This winter, Portonovi will continue to be the place where the festive spirit is felt in the most beautiful way. The program is more intimate in format this year but retains the recognizable Portonovi character: a time for gathering, enjoyment, and creating moments to remember.

A special novelty this year is the opening of an ice-skating rink at Marina Square, adding an extra layer of holiday charm. The rink offers a wonderful opportunity for both children and adults to enjoy a new winter activity together.

In previous years, holiday decorations, light installations, and a diverse program have attracted numerous visitors from Montenegro and the region, as well as many international guests who have come to recognize Portonovi as an ideal seaside escape during winter. The festive season has become an important part of the resort’s identity, and December in Portonovi is now synonymous with a cozy atmosphere and holiday magic.

The festive program begins on Saturday, December 6, with the official lighting ceremony and the opening of the Portonovi Holiday Bazaar at Marina Square, accompanied by performances from children’s groups and local artists. The festive weekend continues on December 7 with a Circus Animators show, bringing entertainment to both children and adults. A special novelty this year is the opening of an ice-skating rink at Marina Square, adding an extra layer of holiday charm.

Throughout December and early January, visitors will have the chance to enjoy a series of carefully curated musical events. Klapa Castel Nuovo will perform on December 20 and January 9, bringing their signature traditional repertoire. The New Year’s celebration will feature daytime DJ sets on December 31 and January 1, with an additional DJ performance scheduled for January 6, promising a pleasant outdoor atmosphere during the festive days.

For children and families, December 24 brings the traditional gathering with Santa Claus and his elves – a beloved holiday tradition in Portonovi. The season will be rounded off with the traditional Portonovi New Year’s Run on January 3, an event that brings together recreational runners of all ages and promotes a healthy lifestyle in a unique setting between the sea and the mountains.
