Perpetuum Jazzile to Close the 43rd International Music Festival Dani Muzike at Portonovi

This year’s International Music Festival Dani Muzike will come to a spectacular close by the world-renowned Slovenian vocal orchestra Perpetuum Jazzile, taking place on Monday, 20 July, at 9.30 p.m. at Marina Square in Portonovi. Organized in collaboration with Herceg Fest, the concert is open to all visitors and marks the beginning of a new partnership between Portonovi and one of Herceg Novi’s most established and important cultural festivals.

The partnership brings together a shared passion for exceptional cultural experiences and a commitment to making them accessible to a broad audience. By bringing together the local community, visitors and artists from around the world, the collaboration further contributes to the cultural vibrancy and tourism appeal of Herceg Novi.

For more than four decades, Slovenian ensemble Perpetuum Jazzile has been pushing the boundaries of vocal artistry. Without a single musical instrument, the ensemble uses the human voice to create melodies, rhythms and the sound of an entire orchestra, transforming every performance into a unique fusion of exceptional musicianship, energy and captivating stage presence.

Perpetuum Jazzile is regarded as one of the most impressive a cappella groups of its generation and the world’s most-watched large vocal ensemble on YouTube. Their iconic a cappella rendition of Toto’s Africa has surpassed 50 million views, but the ensemble’s repertoire extends far beyond a single musical genre. Seamlessly blending pop, rock, jazz and gospel with contemporary arrangements, distinctive vocal percussion and carefully crafted choreography come together to create the signature Perpetuum Jazzile sound. For Portonovi, hosting the closing concert of Dani Muzike holds particular significance.
