June in Portonovi - Energy, Sports, and Fun for the Whole Family

This June, Portonovi officially started the summer season with a rich and diverse program that attracted visitors and participants of all ages. From adrenaline-filled competitions to family-friendly activities and sports events, everyone could find something just right for them.

The month began with the spectacular opening of the Portonovi 2k25 Lite Quest 3x3 tournament, marking the official start of the new season of the 3x3 Montenegro Lob Tour. A record number of 35 teams from Montenegro, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina signed up to compete. The tournament delivered thrilling matches, exhibition games, and performances by young talents. The winning team, Kodio from Podgorica, secured a spot at the Challenger Orleans in France, while the audience enjoyed top-level basketball, music, and a fantastic atmosphere.

Sailing enthusiasts gathered for the sixth edition of the Portonovi Regatta “Boka Islands,” which brought together numerous crews from across the region to compete in the waters of Boka Bay. Over two competitive days, sailors navigated routes to the Perast islands and Mamula, competing in seven different classes. The regatta once again confirmed the growing popularity of sailing in Portonovi and reinforced the spirit of camaraderie that defines this event.

For the youngest visitors, the exciting Portonovi Kids’ Games offered a perfect blend of sports, play, and adventure through two specially designed obstacle courses. With professional organization and high energy, the event helped children build skills, teamwork, and enjoy an active and fun-filled day.

Portonovi Summer Rise was a standout morning event, the “Dawn of Summer” race (Svitanje ljeta). Enthusiasts gathered for the sixth edition of the challenging uphill run from Portonovi to the viewpoint above Zmijice. Along a demanding 4-kilometer route with stunning views of Boka Bay, participants pushed their limits, and this year’s race even had a new record! For those preferring a gentler pace, a scenic walking tour offered a more relaxed but equally inspiring experience.

June in Portonovi once again proved that summer here begins actively and dynamically, with a packed schedule of events for all ages. Whether you’re an athlete, a family person, a nature lover, or simply seeking a destination with something to offer every day, Portonovi is a place that gives you more.
