A Festive Weekend in Portonovi: Festive Market Opening

The festive season in Portonovi continues with a rich program planned for the upcoming weekend, featuring the ceremonial opening of the Portonovi Festive Market along with a series of live music performances and children’s programs at Marina Square. As every winter, visitors can expect a joyful holiday atmosphere, seasonal flavors, and activities for all generations.

The Portonovi Festive Market will open on Friday, December 12 at 5 PM, accompanied by a three-hour DJ set by DJ Funk You, bringing energetic rhythms and a vibrant winter atmosphere to the heart of Portonovi. The market will be open daily from December 12 to January 11, operating from 4 PM to 10 PM on weekdays and from 11 AM to 10 PM on weekends and holidays. Charming market houses will offer a rich selection of food and beverages, including mulled wine, rakija, crepes, burgers, and other festive specialties.

The weekend’s evening program also includes live music performances. On Saturday, December 13, Marina Square will host a relaxed live set by Low Voltage from 6 PM to 8 PM, while Sunday, December 14 brings a performance by Fankulo Band, performing from 6 PM to 8:30 PM with their signature Adriatic melodies.

Alongside the evening events, special attention has been given to family-friendly programming. On Saturday, December 13, from 12 PM to 1:30 PM, children can enjoy a festive program featuring Santa Claus and mascots, including music, games, animation, and photo opportunities. On Sunday, December 14, from 12 PM to 2 PM, young visitors are invited to Festive Fun, an interactive children’s program filled with play, laughter, and creative activities.

As part of the festive season, visitors can also look forward to the upcoming opening of the Portonovi Ice-Skating Rink, a new winter attraction at Marina Square that will further enrich the holiday atmosphere and resort offering throughout December and January.

Once again, Portonovi confirms its position as one of the most beautifully decorated winter destinations on the Montenegrin coast, with Marina Square serving as the central gathering place for festive flavors and family-friendly activities throughout the season.
