Festive Market and Ice-Skating Rink in Portonovi Open Until January 25

The festive season at Portonovi continues in January with the Portonovi Festive Market and ice-skating rink at Marina Square, both open until January 25. The Festive Market operates on weekdays from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, while on weekends the market houses are open from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The ice-skating rink at Marina Square is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

On Saturday, January 24, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Marina Square, guests can enjoy a live performance by Klapa Castel Nuovo, bringing recognizable Adriatic melodies to the festive setting.

A Diverse Gastronomic Offering at the Festive Houses

Throughout January, the Festive Market continues to offer a rich and diverse gastronomic selection, catering to different tastes and age groups.

The Square house presents its most popular specialties - a crispy, juicy chicken burger, a smash cheeseburger made from 100% beef, and Austrian beef sausages filled with cheese, mild or spicy, served in a crispy bun with a selection of flavorful sauces. A unique specialty of this house is the warm mulled Jägermeister, prepared with freshly pressed green apple, lemon juice, honey, and cinnamon.

The Yachting Club house offers pancakes, traditional homemade doughnuts, American hot dogs, and juicy Austrian sausages, perfectly paired with draft beer.

Auntie’s House brings a touch of culinary charm with several types of sausages, especially the Austrian cheese-filled sausage, as well as hot dogs served with crispy fries, a favorite among children. Young visitors are particularly delighted by Santa’s Pancake, shaped like his iconic hat. The drinks selection highlights warm punch, often enjoyed with plum brandy, gin, or rum.

Fjaka Festive House offers mild and spicy Austrian sausages, a variety of warm sandwiches - with ham, prosciutto, or salmon - as well as chicken hot dogs and French fries, ideal for a quick and satisfying winter bite.

The Atrium house introduces a different selection, featuring salads such as Olivier and Shuba, warm soups, and distinctive specialties like sushi roll dogs with salmon, crab, or beef. Sweet treats include pancakes, cookies, and cinnamon rolls, while the warm beverage menu features mulled wine, cocoa with marshmallows, and aromatic teas.
