An Extraordinary Exhibition That Will Be Talked About - Yica Djuric at the Pizana Gallery in Portonovi

The rich program of events in Portonovi continues this Friday and Saturday with an exhibition of paintings and figures, as well as a fashion performance by an artist who leaves no one feeling indifferent.

Immediately before the Dancing Queen - ABBA Symphonic Tribute Show concert, on Friday, July 21, from 8 PM, the Yica (Djika) Djuric exhibition will be officially opened.

Yica is a multidisciplinary artist with many years of experience in the art world. Her works are known for characteristic strength, technique, and colors, as well as her ability to depict and evoke complex and distinguishable figures with a simple stroke. Yica mostly creates and exhibits in her studio in Valencia. She had solo exhibitions in Spain, Austria, Colombia, and the United States. She also participated in many group exhibitions throughout Europe. She took part in art colonies where she won awards, the most significant of which is the "Uffizi" award within the art colony of the "Uffizi" gallery in Florence, Italy.

Through her canvases, Đurđica Đurić gives a vision of life that radiates energy and happiness and allows us to understand that childish spirit that leads the artist to a sparkling style, where colors are the protagonists. Her work is an interesting abstraction of reality that speaks to positive energy and happiness, a view of the beautiful side of life, the one without problems and the grayness that affects us all - this is a review by the art historian Giuseppe Villani on the work of this artist.

If you are not able to visit the exhibition on Friday, July 21, or Saturday, July 22, the visitors will see the works of this artist as part of a fashion performance from 8 PM.
