Nikola Žigon, the acclaimed painter whose works are in permanent collections of galleries across the world, will be in Portonovi from June 28 to 30. Born in Ljubljana on July 13, 1958, Nikola Žigon graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1991; since then, he has made a significant artistic opus. First, he created drawings, video art, and artistic installments, and later on, he entirely dedicated himself to painting. His paintings are part of the permanent collection of the Würth Museum in Künzelsau, Baden Württemberg in Germany, as well as many private collections across Europe and America. In addition to his exhibited works in the Pizana Gallery, Žigon will paint in front of the gallery, allowing the audience to enjoy the creation of the work of art. With his rich art portfolio, there is no doubt that the exhibition in Portonovi will be another successful page in the career of this extraordinary artist.
