Portonovi New Year's Run is a sports-recreational event for the best start of the New Year - through sports and entertainment suitable for the whole family. From the youngest who have just taken their first steps to recreational and experienced runners who want to start the New Year with this fun event featuring:
- Children's Run with a distance adapted to ages 2 to 12, at which the participants run a given distance before passing through the finish line.
- Adults' Run over a distance of 5 km, which consists of three and a half laps of running through the Portonovi Resort in the evening under New Year's lights in a festive atmosphere.
The lengths of the children's runs are adapted to their ages, and the run itself will be preceded by a joint warm-up with members of the Herceg Novi Triathlon Club.
New Year's holidays are a period when Portonovi is traditionally decorated with a large number of decorations, and this is also a unique opportunity for all running enthusiasts, as well as those who want to run their first 5 km, to feel the charm of the New Year through a night run under numerous lights and with music on the entire track.
SCHEDULE:
- 3 PM – 4 PM: Gathering children and taking bib numbers
- 4 PM: Children’s Run start (according to age)
- 4:20 PM – 5 PM: Medals and gifts for children
- 5 PM – 6 PM: Gathering adults and taking starter packages
- 6 PM: Warm-up and briefing with participants in Vista Square
- 6:15 PM: Adults’ Run start in Vista Square (5000 m)
- 7 PM: Award ceremony
AWARDS:
- All children will get medals for successful participation;
- All adult participants who successfully complete the race will get a unique medal;
- The three fastest participants in the general race on 5000 m will get a trophy;
PARTICIPATION FEE:
- The participation fee for the Children’s Run is 10.00€.
- The participation fee must be paid online when filling out the registration form.
